Black Lightning gets renewed for a fourth season
Black Lightning is here to stay for another season.
Our favorite Black superhero family is being renewed for a fourth season!
According to the official Black Lightning Facebook account, the popular TV series has been renewed for a fourth season and fans are pleased. If you aren’t aware, Black Lightning is
arguably the best CW show out right now. Black Lightning, based on the DC Comics follows the Pierce family who lives in Freeland. Freeland is under attack from the ASA who wants to stop the Markovian war and contain the people who are affected by green light. The Pierce family has a lot of ups and downs like most families but they don’t have superpowers.
Black Lightning, Thunder and Lightning all have unique powers that compliment each other. If you follow Dainty Thug Podcast, you can catch recaps with spoilers included.
I previously compared Black Lightning to Luke Cage and talked about the differences and why I felt Black Lightning had longer staying power. While I loved Luke Cage on Netflix, Black Lightning feels more authentic in its display of Blackness. As far a villians are concerned, Tobias Whales on Black Lightning is my favorite TV villian which for a long time was Kingpin from Daredevil.
I am thrilled this show been renewed because the story is full of action and the plots offer a great slow burn for viewers.
