28 Days of supporting Black creatives: Meet Queen Academy

To celebrate Black History Month, we are highlighting black creatives every day to showcase the talents and many gifts from our community. We have a variety of designers, media, artists and entrepreneurs to highlight this month.

On the eighth day of blackness my sibling gave to me…

Queen Academy

Queen Academy offers over 20 different courses for girls aged 8-14. The objective is not only to teach them skills but to build bonds and confidence. It is empowering seeing an organization composed primarily of women! It is necessary for them to see 20+ personalities working in unison for their benefit! It is healthy for them to have a positive community of peers and mentors to lean on and grow with! For Black Her-story month we have a special project that we have been working on were our girls cosplayed as black women characters. We will be releasing one or two cosplays a day for the entire month of February! Be sure to follow Queen Academy and be apart of something ground-breaking!

You can follow Queen Academy on Instagram and Facebook.
