The funky, eclectic rap duo Flyana Boss (pronounced Fly-Anna) are officially part of The Sims 4 universe. In late July, EA recently its Lovestruck Expansion pack. It’s another pack where you can encourage your sims to date. While finding love for your Sim-boos, if you listen closely, you can hear the emerging rap stars spittin’ their now-viral song, “You Wish”. Rapping in Simlish ain’t easy, but Flyana Boss makes it sound and look easy.

Haters tried to discredit the series of video snippets the rap group did of their song at various locations. Legendary rapper, Missy Elliot voiced her support of the emerging artists that resulted in a remix to “You Wish” along with Kaliii. It’s safe to say that they are having a promising breakout year. With the appeal of Black kawaii and nerd aesthetics, Flyana Boss appeals to all the trap-pop and rap girly fan bases.

Other artists that can be heard in The Sims 4 game

Flyana Boss aren’t the only recognizable artists that can be heard while playing The Sims. Rico Nasty, Vic Mensa, Shaboozey, Lizzo, Macy Gray, Janelle Monae, and Ari Lennox have all been added to the Pop, Hip-Hop and R&B radio stations which you can hear throughout the game. In an interview with Gal-dem, Lennox talked about how playing the addictive game relaxes her.

Ari Lennox’s song “BMO” can be heard under the hip-hop radio station on The Sims 4.

It’s great so see your faves embrace that video game money.

Now, I haven’t played Lovestruck yet and as a longtime Simmer, I am ambivalent about the concept of it even though I am curious about it. When I played Sims 2, I faintly recall the packs that were somewhat similar. Packs such as Late Night, Apartment Life and Open For Business seemed to incorporate some of what Lovestruck has but for the Tinder generation. With the updated surprises, this expansion packs wants your sims to feel like a smorgasbord of reality tv shows, social media and free love all at your fingertips. And even though I am not a big fan of a multitude of packs for consumers, I can’t help but get a little giddy at the amount of chaos one can cause playing with this pack.

I can’t imagine how wild this game could get with the Wicked Whims mod.
