Emily Bustamante of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop host So Excessive Boutique in Newark, NJ

Last night, Fabulize Mag was beyond fortunate to attend a Holiday Sip and Shop at the So Excessive Boutique in Newark, NJ, hosted by the lovely Emily B. of VH1’s Love and Hip Hop. It was definitely a fab event to say the least. Guests were greeted with glasses of complimentary cocktails, courtesy of Rose Courvoisier and Skinny Girl Margaritas as well as delicious red velvet cupcakes. We spoke with two jewelry designers while at the event. Designer, Sennie Clark, Co-Founder of CruxNY, is one of the many featured designers of the So Excessive Boutique. Her jewelry have been worn by celebrities such as Beyonce, Solange, and Jessica White, just to name a few. These designs are beyond phenomenal and cutting edge. They boast of bold colors and intricate designs. We also caught up with jewelry designer Kween Moore of Urban Kween Collekshun Jewelry. While her jewelry was not featured in the So Excessive Boutique, we are sure it’s only a matter of time before they will be available soon. She was clad from head to toe in her custom fluorescent bangles and earrings. If you like colors (as we all do) and dare to be different, Urban Kween is definitely the way to go. The host of the event, Emily B., talked excitedly about her upcoming plans as a stylist. She’s definitely making her path as a fashionista perfected a fitted plum dress with black leather quarter length sleeve accents and skate lace up booties. I briefly spoke with the owner of So Excessive Boutique, Keena Williams and she discussed how some of the jewelry in her boutique are of her own custom designs, while others are imported from several other designers. Overall, the event was awesome! The featured jewelry in the So Excessive Boutique displays pieces that every woman should have in her jewelry collection!
