I’m jealous AF at everyone that wears Fenty Beauty foundation. I’ve tried multiple ways to use the foundation for my dry skin and nothing works. I envied everyone on IG rocking their Fenty Beauty foundation and that bomb ass Trophy Wife highlighter. It was the look you hear me! I remember going into Sephora to try Fenty for myself because I wanted to stunt, too.
So I pranced into Sephora and went straight to Fenty. I found my color match on the back of my hand and I got nervous; while the shade and coverage were nice, the texture and how it set made me nervous become it’s a very matte/oily skin-friendly foundation. I have dry skin, and on a good day, maybe normal. This wasn’t a good day if course and I almost cried when I put the foundation on and watch it sit on top of every flake on my skin. I was mortified seeing the makeup sit on top of my pores and make them look bigger. I cried at how much facial hair Fenty highlighted on my face. I was so disappointed and wanted to hide my dry, cracked face in a bowl of Vaseline. 
Now, if you are a beauty junkie like me, and have dry skin, then you know all the code words to look out for to determine what products are for your skin type. According to this screenshot that was leaked, this will be a hydrating foundation; whether it will be a BB or CC cream is yet determined.
So, dry skin folks—are we ready to give Fenty Beauty another shot?
