Would you vote for a proud racist? Meet Mitt Romney and Friends

Politics matter. My future matters, and if I decide to have children their futures matter as well. Working and living in social media, people seem to have this idea that the media plays a humongous part in shaping the minds in America. While some of that might be true, there in an ugly truth that has been attempting to stick its head out to the public in this 2012 presidential election. I must say that I do not easily identify myself as a Christian or Muslim; Liberal or Democratic, but I prefer not to be lied to and made to look like a fool because of my race, age or gender. A few months ago I was finishing my final for my political science class and I found myself discovering a few things. In February 2012, there was a convention in Washington D.C called the Conservative Political Action Conference. At this conference the republican candidates entertained documented white nationalists/terrorists Peter Brimelow and Jared Taylor were the “celebrated” speakers.

Not many people are familiar with Jared Taylor or Peter Brimelow so I will set it all out here.

Jared Taylor runs a magazine called the American Renaissance and it describes itself as “America’s premiere publication of racial-realist thought” (aka racism). Ron Paul has been a fan and supporter of Taylor for years. He even quoted Jared Taylor in his newsletter in May 1990.

I found information about Jared Taylor on Twitter. I saw a tweet from a conservative that stated minorities commit more crimes than American White men so I followed the source. The source lead to The New Century Foundation which runs a site called “ The Color Of Crime“. Of course the entire data is flawed but the scary thing is that is it being used a news source for members in the NRA and neo-conservatives (let it also be known that these outlets are non-profit so I believe that they might be funded by bigger companies that we probably use in our everyday lives).

Jared Taylor has benefited and continues to benefit from white privileged. Academically, he is a smart man but he’s so smart he is stupid. Taylor believes that white people have their own racial interests, and that it is intellectually valid for them to protect these interests; he sees it as anomalous that whites have allowed people of other ethnicities to organize themselves politically while not doing so themselves (excuse me while I vomit).

Taylor has summarized the basis for his views in the following terms:

Race is an important aspect of individual and group identity. Of all the fault lines that divide society—language, religion, class, ideology—it is the most prominent and divisive. Race and racial conflict are at the heart of the most serious challenges the Western World faces in the 21st century… Attempts to gloss over the significance of race or even to deny its reality only make problems worse.He has questioned the capacity of blacks to live successfully in a civilized society.

In an article on the chaos in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Taylor wrote “when blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western Civilization—any kind of civilization—disappears. And in a crisis, civilization disappears overnight.

Oh, but it gets even better. The CPAC’s 2012 theme was “The Failure of Multiculturalism: How the pursuit of diversity is weakening the American Identity.” Yeah, in 2012 where America is the melting pot of all cultures, especially minorities there are rich, angry white men ( and women because Sarah Palin was also there and co-signed everything) that are in an uproar because they feel they are losing control over “their country”. Things like this angers me. The CPAC hosted anti-gay groups such as the Family Research Council, the birther leader of WorldNetDaily, and the Apartheid-nostalgic Youth for Western Civilization.

But it gets even better. If you think Jared Taylor is disgusting ( which he is with his fake data, and fake religious protection) please acknowledge Peter Brimelow.

He also said that a New York City subway is the same as an Immigration and Naturalization Service waiting room, “an underworld that is not just teeming but also almost entirely colored.”
VDARE has published the work of people like Robert Weissberg, who says that black and Hispanic students are responsible for problems in the American education system, Marcus Epstein, the Youth for Western Civilization leader who karate-chopped a black woman after calling her a “n****r” (he later pled guilty to assault), and J. Philippe Rushton of the eugenicist Pioneer Fund.

The Southern Poverty Law Center lists VDARE as a White Nationalist hate group and notes that “VDARE.com’s archives contain articles like ‘Freedom vs. Diversity,’ ‘Abolishing America,’ ‘Anarcho-Tyranny — Where Multiculturalism Leads’ and ‘Why Immigrants Kill,’” compiled quotes from other VDARE writers that call the U.S. an exclusively white nation and denounce Jews for “weakening America’s historic White majority”:

Southern Poverty Law Center lists both Jared Taylor and Peter Brimelow as white nationalists which is the same classifications as terrorists.

Why am I posting this now?

Let’s all pretend that the democrats had a panel similar to the one CPAC had and Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright and Angela Davis was speaking a – first of all it would be all over television ( I guess the media isn’t that “liberal” after all) and people would be reacting to it in large numbers. The CPAC had plenty of sponsors and Google was their biggest one ( side, angry, screw face).

Well because I saw a tweet from Raw Story that stated “An adviser for Mitt Romney on Tuesday said the Republican presidential candidate would have better relations with England because of his Anglo-Saxon ancestors.

Romney has planned a six-day overseas tour to meet high-ranking officials in England, Israel and Poland. The tour begins Wednesday in London.

“We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he [Romney] feels that the special relationship is special,” the adviser told London’s Daily Telegraph. “The White House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have.”

President Barack Obama’s father was from Kenya and his mother was an American with mostly English ancestry.

The advisers also described the President as “left winger” whose “first instinct is to reach out to America’s adversaries” and was “very comfortable with American decline.”

Former New York Times columnist Bob Herbert has accused Romney of using “coded language,” a decades-old strategy to reach out to racist voters. The Republican candidate has repeatedly used the word “foreign” to describe Obama, implying that he is not a true American because of his multicultural heritage.”

First of all, who the hell uses terms like Anglo- Saxon to describe themselves anyway? And please let the record show that France voted out their far-right extremists and picked a more liberal president this year.

Please don’t allow a close-minded, out-of-date man to run this country. It is true I might not agree with everything President Obama does, but I rather have him as my president than someone who doesn’t like my biological makeup.
