First Responders Super Squad – Mattel Makes Heroes Out Of The Nation’s Front Line

First Responders First

Throughout this pandemic, frontline workers everywhere have been real-live super heroes. Thus, it makes sense why Mattel is representing them as such. Through Fisher Price, the toy giant is paying tribute to “every day heroes” with a new series of collections and dedicated funds.

Dubbed “Thank You Heroes“, the five new collections of 16 action figures will feature:

The best part about the collection? Diversity. COVID-19 has affected Americans no matter the skin color. Our frontline represents the people all across the spectrum. This collections helps children see how much an every day hero looks just like them.

“Whether these toys are given as a gift to recognize someone working on the front lines, or used as a tool to help children have conversations about how they are feeling, it is our hope that Fisher-Price toys, and play in general, can ultimately make these difficult times easier for both kids and adults” stated Chuck Scothon, Senior Vice President of Fisher Price

Each figure will be priced at $20, with $15 of the proceeds going to FirstRespondersFirst. This fund exclusively provides resources to the health care frontline. Pre-orders have begun and run until May 31. The launch for the new collections will arrive by December 31.
